Title:
Assistant Planner
Responsibilities:
Assists in developing assortment plans, sales forecasts, writing reports, & analyzing sales figures
Assists with reviewing & reacting to sales performance and selling reports
Allocates product to maximize sales, profitability, and productivity
Communicate financial results, forecasts and action plans to planning director and sales team
Strong execution of data and data management
Assist in data accuracy so all tools and processes function as expected
Manage inbound shipments such as PO tracking & maintenance, operational issues, warehouse communications
Execute on a variety of purchase order, in-stock, and vendor related systems and reports
Required :
Strong computer literacy, especially with Excel
Must be flexible, possess good written and oral communication skills
Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
Extremely detail oriented and analytical, data input with high accuracy rate
Preferred:
1+ year of prior experience in experience in a retail chain-store environment
Access knowledge
Working towards degree in Planning/Buying
